moritz gaeckle

hello there. i am moritz, originally from stuttgart and currently living in munich. i gained over four years of professional experience at thomas bentzen’s design studio in copenhagen and am now working at studio kowalewski in munich. alongside this work, i’m in the process of establishing my own design studio.

after finishing a three-year apprenticeship as a technical model maker, i completed a bachelor‘s degree in industrial design at the hfg schwäbisch gmünd in germany. in order to further enhance my understanding of sustainable design, i pursued a master‘s degree in industrial design with a specific focus on eco-innovation at the fh joanneum in graz, austria.

this diverse educational and professional background has shaped me into a very hands-on designer with a strong understanding of various materials and manufacturing processes. striving to create aesthetically pleasing, simple and well thought-out products, my ambition is to always incorporate the idea of circular design.
